He nervously looks at the screens. This must have been alerting him we were here. He is a powerful indigo who summoned snakes. I read about orphromancy, the ability to see the future from communicating with snakes. Once he knew what was to happen. I would use my telepathy to read his mind.

It took a moment but nothing. Either his power was a big letdown, or MaryAnne wasn't concerned about him. Ginger cast a spell of her own to counter his and Natalie had ran fast across the room. Had her hand on his throat before he could blink.

Ginger says, "We just want to talk. MaryAnne is back and Jensen Saunders is missing. We need your help finding Viven Delrow. She is in search of him but he was taken. Someone wants to open the universes to destroy the barriers between them and release God knows what."

The look on his face confirmed he had no idea about any of this as Natalie releases him.

Ginger says, "Please we need your help."

Thomas states, "I don't know where MaryAnne is, nor do I want to reconnect. As for Jensen being taken, he cane rot in hell for all I care. I can however tell you where Viven is."

Natalie smiles and answers, "Now that'll be helpful."

Thomas grins and asks, "What will you give me for the information?"

She couldn't believe he was trying to blackmail them, no wonder MaryAnne choose him.

Ginger hated to do this but time was running it. She slammed her palm against his nose, breaking it as blood started gushing out.

Ginger smiles and responds, "Have I made my point?"

She cast a small healing spell to fix the damage as he writes down the information.

Natalie says, "Thanks for the hospitality."

  Thomas growls "Screw you."

Natalie shockingly replies, "That is disgusting. I am like fifthteen years old so I think you are a perv. I am so sicken."

Ginger couldn't help but grin as they leave.

  Chapter Twenty Eight:

Ginger thanks Natalie for all her help. She opens a portal to the directions that Thomas gave her. The last place she expected to be was outside a bar.

Sure she was twenty one now, but never had the urge to visit one or drink. Life had dealt her some shitty cards but she dealt the best way she could. The bar was called the Dax.

There was a magic barrier at the doorway but Ginger easily passed it. Something happened when she walked outside the Dax in New York. The Dax was originally the society for the Elemental Council, so the original three.

Parker was dead and with Jensen missing, Ginger had to turn to Viven. The inscription told the life story of Parker and his friends. This must have been a long time ago. The woman behind the bar name was Aretha Lynne Reed, a beautiful blond with the warmest blue eyes.

They were about the same height when the waitress clearly Aretha’s sister came to hand her a menu. This one's name was Luna Janice Reed. Both were nice into the cook came from out behind the kitchen in the back corner.

She claimed, "Kitchen closed. Finish your drinks and get out."

Luna smiles and announces, "Ignore my sister. She is only kidding."

Rachel the brunette with green eyes highlighted by her eyeliner frowned and stated, "Do I look like I am joking around?"

Aretha says, "Hard to tell when your face is stuck on instant bitch. Why are you closing early, hot date?"

Rachel yells, "Who is the oldest? We are closed!"

Rachel stumps off to the back. Ginger stood there in total bafflement as the patrons slowly made their way out the bar.

Luna says, "Sorry dear, looks like we're closed."

Aretha snarls, "Luna. Shut up. This is Ginger Solis."

  Luna gasps and asks, "Artemis?"

Luna falls on her knees and bows.

Ginger thinks, "Wow that is a first."

Aretha states "Get up fools. We don't serve her any longer, or have you forgotten?"

Ginger stood in the middle of a strange bar in total confusion.

Rachel appears and asks, "Is everyone gone?"

Ginger suddenly felt strange being the only one in a strange city with three strange women.

Luna says, "Yeap. Where is she?"

  Voice says, "Right here!"

Ginger turns to see a woman who is ancient. There was no other way to describe the old woman in a wheelchair.

  Wait, this is Viven Delrow.

  Chapter Twenty Nine:

Viven Delrow was the last koglor demon, but she looked like age had not been kind to her.

Viven looks at Aretha who hold her gaze a moment then locks up the bar. Luna begins to chant.

Ginger wonders, "What is she casting?"

Rachel says, "We are the sisters of Reliqusaum, all that remains between balance and chaos. Viven here has a special ability that we have. Timeless knowledge and this is how we contact August Gold to protect her daughter Raven. It is also how we help people by communicating through spirits."

Ginger thinks, "Can they help me find Jensen? Stop PHD and all it stands for?"

Viven tells Ginger she is dying, but wants her to deliver a message to Raven for her. Ginger agrees and she tells her that Jensen was taken by Delia Kern, a powerful creature. Sadly danger was only going to grow for Ginger.

Before she could go on, of course Jonah Spider Grandhorn opened a portal and stepped through. He always comes to ruin any chance of her finding anything out.

Spider states, "We need to have a chat Viven. Girls go away."

Rachel stands defiance besides Viven. Aretha and Luna try to pull her away.

Rachel states, "I am not going anywhere leaving him alone with Viven. We see how he likes to solve problems."

Luna says, "Come on. You know your place."

  Rachel yells, "NO!"

  Spider responds, "Fine."

He pushes out blue sparks and magic overcomes the three who fall fast asleep.

Spider states, "Troublesome. How can you stand them? Ah, Ginger Solis. Sticking your nose where it does not belong again."

Ginger looks at him to a withering Viven. What does she do now? Spider cast a spell.

  Chapter Thirty:

Nothing. What did he just do? His magic was sure to do some major damage. She stood there in total disbelief.

Viven states, "Not in my house. There will be no hard done to this child. She is under my protection and you have another to concern with yourself anyhow, old friend. He has a destiny too. She is already on the correct path. Thanks to Raymond. He will do wonderful things."

She had to ask, "Raymond Harman?"

Spider glares at her and states, "Who else? What do you think? I killed him."

No point in saying anything. The obvious tension in the air was enough of a response.

Viven answers, "Why shouldn't she? You a mysterious old fool. Just tell her why you sent that note to Shalice Kincaid."

Ginger gasps, so that confirms the note was sent by him. Spider sighs as he pulls out a stool and pours to himself a glass of white Russian vodka.

He shallows it in a gulp and says, "It is a long story. Let me tell it and no melding Viven."

Viven rolls her tongue and sucks her teeth but nods all the same.

Spider says, "All of the drama. Shalice married Aaron, but really wanted Daniel. I told her to leave him. She agreed but her heart never stopped loving him. Now look they are back together against my wishes."

Ginger asks, "What's the big deal?"

Spider states, "She can be happy but so will everyone else. Like Malcolm and Tara, thanks for messing up all that I desire. Now MaryAnne is back and up to no good. In love and doing anything she can to find Jensen. She unleashed a powerful Alpha witch when she was freed."

  This news stunned Ginger.

Spider continues, "MaryAnne and another were freed thanks to Piper. Just like long ago all over again. Opening one door only leads to the past finding it way back."

  Ginger had to agree.

Viven states, "Spider the boy needs you. He found your son. You must go. Ginger hurry. Help Je
nsen."

With those strange words, she found herself home in her room. Damn magic! At least she knew that Jensen was alive. Now she needed to find all she could on Delia Kern.

  Chapter Thirty One:

Ginger sat down infront of her journal with all the information she was given. It just followed on the page. After that she had a ton of energy to burn. She changed and went downstairs to jump to a treadmill. Life was complicated but she could always count on herself to be creative.

After about forty seven minutes, she whipped the sweat that was now pouring off her. She cleaned off the machine before heading upstairs for a nice hot long hot shower. As she pasted the kitchen, Yvette was making dinner.

Just the two of them. Adorsa was at work to distract himself that his supposedly dead wife was alive and now was with Daniel. She had served him the divorce papers this afternoon. He sent a text and was doing what he knew how to do.

Live and survive, one day at a time. Stacey and Peter went back to their place so no crying baby to keep them up all hours of the night. With all the silence it gave Ginger chance to contemplate writing a second book. She had mentioned it to Like, who thought a great idea.

After her shower, she sat wrapped in her fluffy cotton rob and ate Yvette's tuna stir fried concoction. She began typing on her computer and before she knew it. There were fourteen chapters to her new book.

Ginger reread them and could not conceive how she did this. Brilliant words with a clear concept, romance this time around. She loved writing the science fiction novel but was now taking a stab at something new. It was very exciting. About time she crashed for bed it was almost two in the morning.

Where had all the time gone? She washed up and brushed her teeth. In the morning, Aaron was sitting at the kitchen counter sipping coffee and looked exhausted. The poor fella looked like he tossed and turned all night. Ginger sighed as she made him pancakes which luckily he happily ate. Yvette joined them and Aaron cleared up.

Ginger went to school; work and later that night had plans with Luke. With Aaron so distracted she fell asleep in Luke's arms. After the long day she had, followed up by sweet passionate sex and now to be awoke with a gourmet feast.

The boy must have gotten up early as they fed each other in bed. About time she left his place, it hit her with a startle. I know how to find Jensen.

  Chapter Thirty Two:

Ginger summoned Hannah. She didn't know why she didn't se the connection earlier. She was the living and breathing only family he had.

  Blood.

As a half-witch, half demon angel hybrid. She could use a spell to locate him, or at least Ginger hoped so. With Hannah there, Ginger went over the plan but wanted her to cast the spell to conserve her energy. There was no telling who this Delia Kern was.

Leo found nothing on her. Mark said she probably didn't exist, or at least smart enough not to leave a paper trail. Ginger had to admit that made perfect sense when he explained things.

Leave it to Mark to be absolutely rational and full of useful advice. Ginger could now clearly state she loved him. No longer in a romantic passion manner but friendship. The reason she didn't go back to the apartment was easy.

Adorsa had asked for her advice asking Mark out. Forward and direct Adorsa was an ideal girlfriend so she told her everything that could be considered useful. She was over Mark. They were friends and Adorsa was her roommate.

Of course this might be disastrous but she shut her mouth and simply helped while holding back her opinions. Adorsa asked him out and of course he called to verify if it would be weird with the whole roommate thing. The fact he was considers pissing her off. This incredible handsome, compassionate guy who she had a sling with was asking to avoid conformation.

It was Ginger that now controlled their dating life, so of course she consented. They went on their first date last night. No phone call and being anywhere near the apartment was the last thing she wanted.

Not helping pick out clothes, any other predate friend crap and ended with a few nights away from her room. It turned it to be good for her and Luke. She told him about her new book and he was thrilled she was writing. Luke was more excited.

She didn't settle but decided to push the limits and write romance. Another one of the reasons she loved him. Ginger stood beside Hannah as she waited for her ingenious plan to execute. The portal opened and through the portal Ginger saw Jensen chained up. Without thought or reason she jumped in with Hannah yelling wait.

  Chapter Thirty Three:

When Ginger turned around an angry Hannah was behind her as the portal began to close. At least she was right about the blood tracking spell.

Before Ginger could asset the situation. Hannah yelled out in pain before collapsing to the ground. The room they were in looked like an abandoned sporting good shop.

Jensen was chained to a barbell bench. Hannah was next to it in an open space. Ginger started at her lifelong friend squeezing her fists hard when blood slowly started to trickle free. Her agonizing cries made Ginger stop time to gather her bearings and figure out her next move.

  Jensen.

Free him and get the hell out of here. Ginger uses her powers to try and break the chains but nothing. Next she tried a spell but got the same results. In outrage she flung her hand and they snapped free. Her mouth fell open.

  Ginger wonders, "What just happened?"

Ginger didn't have time now to worry about her expanding powers. She let time go back, grabbed Jensen to help him up as she half carried him toward Hannah. No, it was sudden. A powerful crackling sound and Hannah violently began to spasm.

Ginger couldn't form words let along thoughts to describe it. Hannah was dying. How she knew, it was all happening so fast to comprehend. Some inner voice told her to grab her hand before it was too late.

She reached out and seven seconds later the spasming stopped as Hannah gazed up at her. She let out her last breath and all her particles quickly shot into Ginger. Hannah's body quickly turned to ash and was simply gone.

Ginger let out a yelp in agony. Jensen pulled her through a portal. Ginger let out a yell and was back at the Darkholme mansion before she could fight the tears freely fallen.

  Chapter Thirty Four:

  How was this possible?

It had been twenty entire life altering minutes. No, Hannah can't be dead. This is one terrible huge mistake. So this was denial?

Ginger never truly experienced it before. When everyone she loved had died, a tiny part always knew it. This was something entirely else. Even when they said Stacey had died, she had faith but not this time.

Hannah Bryton, her guardian angel and lifelong friend was dead. There was no real time to grieve. Jensen was alive and home, but Delia took him. She must have had a reason.

Ginger's rational, logical and analytic mind kicked into over -drive to figure this out. The tears stop falling; Hannah's death would not be in vain. Step one get my act together. She ran upstairs, splashed her face with some cold water and dried off. Ginger told Jensen to explain everything, but before he could.

Three things happened. Stacey came in the back-door in action made. The front door got a knock that Yvette had answered. It was the biggest surprise of them all. MaryAnne Kris was at there house, and right now of all times.

She came running and went crashing into Jensen's arms. He hugged her like she was family.

Ginger had to keep herself from throwing up, or straight punching this chick in the face. The last thing she expected was the phone ringing. It was Jurnee calling to tell them Penny had gone into labor.

  She thought, "Great!"

  Chapter Thirty Five:

Penny's sons Ian and Gabriel were the healthiest babies ever. Yvette was showing everyone the photos. Well MaryAnne squeezed besides Jensen like they were waiting.

Ginger wondered, "What was that about?"

Stacey informs them that this Delia Kern must have did some spell. She felt a tear in the psychic knit. Once the words were out her mo
uth. Ginger could feel it. There was a portal being opened that broke all the barriers.

  Ginger says, "Oh shit."

MaryAnne states, "We can fix this."

  All eyes turned to her.

  Ginger thought, "What we?"

MaryAnne tells Ginger to summon Oscar, which they were going to need his help. She didn't have time to wonder how she knew about Oscar. When Oscar came out the portal and took one look at her. Ginger knew something was up.

MaryAnne told Stacey to get Shalice down here like yesterday.

Aaron asked, "Why should we listen to you?"

MaryAnne states, "The longer that ripples is in the universes stay open, worlds will start to fuse together. It could kill us all, and last time I checked. I am fond of living. I just got this amazing man back in my life."

She held Jensen's hand. All Ginger wanted to do was yell, pulled her hair out and punch her repeatedly. Time. She could go back in time to make things right. Save Hannah.

  Chapter Thirty Six:

While the others waited for Daniel and Shalice. Ginger pulled Oscar upstairs to talk in private. She wanted the spell she gave him to bring him to her present day.

Oscar says, "That is a one time use spell. It is very dangerous and besides, you can't perform it now that the angel mojo is inside you. When Hannah died. She did something strange to you."

Ginger hadn't given it much thought but she did feel strange. It was like the entire universe was calling out to her to fix it. That must be the ripple, or she couldn't stop to worry about anything else right now.

Oscar says, "Let's go. They are here."

Back downstairs MaryAnne tells them she managed to banish Daniel. It was Spider that locked up Shalice. Shalice, MaryAnne, and Jensen together could try to contain the ripple. It was likely all their magic was powerful but with Daniel, Stacey, Ginger and Oscar they could fix all the ripples at once.

The only downside is whatever Delia wanted unleashed was probably already here. That was scary news but that the Elemental children were safe.

They all linked hands and recited the words that MaryAnne spoke. Their combined powers fixed the ripples in the universe and restored balance. Ginger now knew what it felt like to be a creator. This is almost like the old magic they used to make all the planets for their kind.
