Peter was a total mess. He couldn't eat and was constantly calling Stacey's phone into the voicemail box was filled. Aaron wasn't any better when everyone got to the house. He was still searching with no luck. Stacey couldn't have simply vanished without a trace.
That was impossible. And what was really strange is that all the security cameras in the club suddenly malfunctioned right before Stacey vanished.
It supposedly happened right after her brief talk with Ginger, but no frame showed a man come up to any of them. There were plenty of suspects and Leo was called to help. He was going through every attendee with Aaron to try and jog memories.
Two days without any news was ripping the family apart. Yvette of course was blaming herself, as if she could have controlled what happened. Aaron was growing dark spots under his eyes from lack of sleep and constant worrying.
Peter went into a deep funk and Yvette had to force him to eat each day. It was like without Stacey, he lost his will to survive. Alone home that afternoon with him, Ginger went to check on him. He was now camped out in Stacey's room to be as near to her as he could.
Ginger lightly tapped on the door, going in when no reply was heard. He must be sleeping; she had a bowl of soup. It wasn't much but like Yvette said he needed to eat. He stirred when he saw it was her. It was as if the fog had cleared.
Peter says, "We need to find her."
Ginger responds, "And we will. Have faith."
Peter began crying and mumbles, "No we need to find her now! You, Ginger have to bring her back home to me."
Ginger voice cracked at his devasted state and speaks, "I will. I promise."
Peter frowns and claims, "She's pregnant. We had just found out the other day. She was going to tell the family before..."
Those words broke her heart as she needed to do something and she knew where to begin.
Chapter Thirty:
She called Mark and Penny. Ginger needed her biggest weapons and allies to back her up.
Ginger turns to Penny and states, "Please don't do anything to make your wife kill me."
Penny says, "I'll try not to, no promises."
They stood outside of Piper's mansion. This time Ginger called ahead and made and appointment to speak to her.
Mark asks, "So how is this woman connected to Stacey's disappearance?"
Ginger shakes her head and replies, "Not sure. Maybe nothing, possibility her idea, or she could help lead us in the right direction to find Stacey's mom at the least."
Penny gasps and answers, "Shalice Kincaid is dead."
Ginger frowns and states, "Not accordingly to Piper she isn't and to add more doubt, they never found a body."
That information shocked her friends, as the gates opened with two people waiting for them to be let in. A man with glasses, a snappy dresser in preppy getup. The woman was more casual in jeans and a simple blue blouse.
One thing Ginger knew right off the bat that these two were indigos which added to her level of worry. The woman introduced herself as Adorsa Olivia Barryington, a twenty three year old with blond hair and blue streaks.
The guy was Aiden Brenton, also an indigo but he was thirty four years old. He is ruggedly handsome with a full trimmed beard and his glasses added a touch of sophistication.
Adorsa turns to Aiden and snarkly states, "So you're Ginger? Not much is she?"
Aiden looks at Adorsa before giving Ginger a look over and replies, "Not as far as I can tell."
They begin to laugh.
Penny grins and answers, "Funny, then why does Piper need you two here?"
They stopped laughing as she pushed past them. Mark stayed behind to watch their backs as Ginger jogged quickly to catch up with Penny. She didn't want anything else happening to someone else she cared about."
Ginger suspected Aiden was the one to watch out for, Mark must agree. He was watching him carefully the entire walk towards the mansion.
Penny snaps, "Long ass drive way."
That breaks the tension, as Ginger grins while nodding.
Chapter Thirty -One:
Inside the cool air allowed Penny to calm down some, as Aiden asked them to sit as he goes and gets his empress.
The smirking Adorsa looked sad when he stepped out the room, and her eyes met Ginger's for a moment. Ginger saw it, fear and rage behind the girl's eyes. Like Ginger felt from many others under the tyrant Feltus' thumb.
Forced or coercion to do their biddings. She was so quick to jump to conclusions. Ginger couldn't give this much thought when Piper strolled in the room in a long black dress.
Ginger was sure it cost a fortune.
Mark demands, "Do you know where Stacey is?"
Piper looked the same, viper ready gaze and took a moment to answer, "No, I do not. Why are you back here?"
Her gaze zoned in on Ginger, who replies, "You told me about Shalice. What else can you tell me?"
Piper laughs and snaps, "I told you what I did on my terms not yours'. Leave before I throw you out and that won't be pretty."
Penny launches out the chair and demands, "That's it?"
Piper eyes her and looked at her belly before saying, "That baby is going to be special, so take good care of him. Now leave please. I told you all I am going to."
She turns and looks at Adorsa with Aiden trailing behind like a puppy dog.
Mark asks, "Now what?"
Ginger answers, "We leave."
Penny rolls her eyes and says, "Whatever. I'm hungry anyway."
Mark chuckles and states, "Let's get you some grub before your wife beats me to death."
Adorsa grabs Ginger's hand and a spark runs through her. It was a message. It happened so quickly that Mark and Penny hadn't noticed. Ginger had to mask her face and rushed after them. She left without going to get something to eat. She was going to do like Raymond had hoped, find Shalice Kincaid.
Chapter Thirty- Two:
Ginger closed her eyes and allowed Adorsa's message through. Piper had made a bracelet that controls indigos. Piper developed also a way to open up a new dimension to find MaryAnne Kris. She found her but was working out how to free her.
She thinks, "Oh shit!"
So that's what she is up to. Bring back her old boss and had hired someone to get the list of indigos from Jordan to force them to help. Everything was starting to add up and now Ginger knew Piper wasn't Feltus at all. Piper was cunning and calculating, which was definitely a deadly combination.
The spell or whatever Raymond Harman had did left a decoded message in her memory on how to find Shalice. All she needed to do was have Shadey active it.
Ginger turned into a phantom shadow and found her way back at the museum. She explained everything to Shadey, so they went outside to allow them some privacy. Ginger slipped past the realm of her mind and they went deeper to all the information to seep through.
When she opened her eyes and let go of her hand. Ginger knew what had to be done and where to find Shalice. Maybe with her mom's help, find Stacey in the process.
Chapter Thirty - Three:
This place like Moville was in another realm hidden with magic. Ginger transported herself to Las Vegas with a portal, such strange places she ended up in.
Once in the desert she let the innate magic guide her as words formed. She cast the spell and a wide gap to fit her body appeared in the ground. Ginger stepped in and left earth to a field of flowers as far as her eyes could see.
She wondered, "What is this place?"
A tiny voice answers her mentally, "Lovely Family force times, a special garden made for the superior queen. An alpha witch made us. Don't you find us lovely?"
A sharp pain hit her head, like a hammer and Ginger tried to shake it off. Ignore the pain, words Caleb would have said to her.
Ginger thought, "Us?"
A few voices answers this time, "Yes, us!"
The pounding in her head was too much. All these minds and thoughts were over-powering her.
In the distance Ginger saw
a tower and a shadow move across the window.
Ginger wonders, "Who is that?"
A thousand voices answers, "Shalice, our prisoner."
Ginger yelled out in excruciating pain. I have to get away.
She used her shadow powers to glide through the air and used the last of her energy to get away from all these voices.
The telepathic plants were causing so much pain when Ginger fell from the sky a few feet from the tower and she mumbled, "Help me."
Ginger passed out.
Chapter Thirty-Four:
Slowly and groggily Ginger sat up in a tiny bed. It was a twin bed and her gaze sweep quickly over where she was. She was in the tower that was the only reasonable explanation. Where is Shalice and how had she gotten here? The voices weren't answering but she felt weak.
The room contained a desk, a lap on top of it. The bed she was sitting in and a mirror resides on the wall that showed a sleeping Stacey.
She wonders, "This can't be real."
Ginger gets up and examines the mirror. She could see two rooms, one lead to a small kitchenette and an even tiny bathroom. This truly was torture.
She thought, "How long has she been here?"
Once again that weakling feeling over-came Ginger as if a wave had just been thrown on her.
The mysterious Shalice Kincaid from the photos was at the sink washing dishes. Ideal hands and that brought a grin to Ginger's face. Something her mom uses to say.
Ginger asks, "How do you eat?"
Shalice looks over her shoulder and smiles. Her smile was like a warm sun and she says, "I conjure food."
Ginger nods and says, "Why haven't you escaped?"
Shalice shakes her head and asks, "First, who are you?"
Ginger laughs and replies, "Right. You have no idea who I am. My name is Ginger Solis; I have been staying with your family the last couple of years."
Shalice snarls, "What? Aaron married you? A child."
Ginger shakes her head and responds, "Oh no. I am adopted. You're family is amazing and it's a really long story. How about I just used my mind to show you."
Shalice bumps back against the counter trying to retrieve and states, "No, they attack you went you think. I have to basically be mechanical. I can't plan my escape as you can see why I am still forced here. MaryAnne was clever when she made this place. They drain my energy each time you think."
Ginger asks, "You sure it was her?"
That made Shalice quiet to think a few moments while Ginger stood up and glanced outside the window to the field of flowers.
She wondered, "Who is this superior witch that the plants mentioned?"
Chapter Thirty-Five:
After four hours trying to come up with a plan, the wide life of nature had almost drained all her energy. Ginger was pissed off and couldn't figure out a way to escape. This can't be the end.
Shalice asks, "How is Yvette?"
Ginger responds, "Good considering. You can't see through that thing? I thought you conjured that magic mirror but can see you didn't."
Shalice shakes her head and replies, "Nope. That was part of my torture. To allow me to see Stacey. Where she is. Not who she speaks to, or what she does. Lately she just sleeps in a dark place."
Ginger hated to do this but had no other choice.
She states, "She was taken."
Shalice angrily asks, "But I can see her sleeping. Who did this?"
Ginger shakes her head and answers, "No idea. Was hoping once I freed you. You can help me find her and bring her home."
Shalice responds, "Of course. She's my daughter. Thank you for caring so much about her."
Ginger smiles and explains, "Of course. She is like my sister, so is Yvette. I practically see them that way anyhow."
Shalice smiles and nods.
Ginger says, "I am going to get us out of this."
Shalice replies, "Good luck. I have bee trying for decades."
Ginger closes her eyes and gets mad. Using all her mind to break down the barriers of time. She just had to go back before this place was made and they'd be free. It worked and she stumbled, luckily Shalice caught her before she hit the ground.
Shalice says, "You did it. That was incredible."
Ginger grins and responds, "Thanks. Let's take you home to your family and then find Stacey."
Shalice answers, "Rest. I got this."
A crying Shalice laughs as they stare at the open desert of Las Vegas.
Ginger thinks, "Hold on Stacey. We're coming. You have to fight to save your baby."
Chapter Thirty-Six:
Thank God Shalice was there because Ginger was drained from destroying a realm. Or really displacing it from ever existing. Shalice opened a portal that brought them outside the house, which had way too many cars outside.
Ginger wonders, "What is going on?"
Shalice half dragged carried Ginger into the house. There was a worried Like on the phone probably trying to reach her. She left her phone and Shalice let her go, when he came crashing into her. Lifting her off the ground, and pulled her close that cut off her air supply.
Luke asks, "Where have you been?"
Ginger smiles and says, "Oh you know. Off having adventures. I will tell you more later. Why is everything here?"
Luke looked up at Mark who was standing next to a crying Yvette. Peter was holding his sides like his body could just disappeared. Her strength was returning and the emotions hit her. Oh on, they think Stacey is dead. That is impossible, I saw her alive myself.
Aaron shockingly says, "Shalice? Is this real? Have I lost my mind?"
Shalice cry laughs and answers, "I'm real stud muffin."
He pulls her into a hug and blurts out, "She's dead. Stacey is dead. It's all my fault. I didn't protect our baby girl."
Shalice pulls back from the hug and says, "That's impossible. She is under a sleeping incantation. I saw her myself. She is very much alive."
A crying Aaron says, "What?"
Ginger needs everyone to know Stacey is alive and turns to Mark and demands, "Is there a body?"
Mark shakes her head, looks her in the eyes and wishing they were right.
Ginger thinks, "She can't be dead! This is some nightmare."
In her heart Ginger knew Stacey was alive.
The end....
